I’ve been drinking a lot of smoothies lately and this is one of my favorite new combinations. Its easy, tastes awesome and it keeps me full longer than a lot of other smoothies. The kale adds a great color and additional texture to the mix.
For the granola you can use plain granola or a mix of your choice as long as it’s not too overpowering. I used Bear Naked’s Vanilla Almond Crunch, which worked really well.
And yes that is my foot in the bottom of the photo.
Banana Almond Butter and Kale Smoothie
- 1 cup banana frozen, about 1 medium size banana
- 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almonf milk
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 cup kale
- 1/4 cup granola
- 3 tbsp hemp protein
- 4-5 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients together in a blender and blend well.
